About Us

The Analog Adventure Company was formed to recapture the spirit of the Analog era. After too many nights of sitting on the couch streaming, scrolling, and accidentally ignoring each other, my wife and I wanted to spend more intentional time together and with our family. We kept getting digitally distracted... friends FaceTimed us, group texts popped off, YouTube and TikTok videos were sent our way, new shows dropped on Netflix and Disney+. We didn't realize the depth of this distraction until it got in the way of us connecting with our children. Constant requests from our daughters to look at our phones led to phones being put away and screen related meltdowns.

Our 1 and 3 year old weren't the only ones sad to see the screens go; but, once the screens were gone we didn't miss them. We played games, tried new recipes, and actually talked to each other. It was, and still is awesome. I think its because, by definition, this is exactly what I am looking for when I am spending time with our family. Analog Adventure - An unusual, exciting experience or activity not involving or relating to the use of computer technology; a contrast to digital. 

We wanted to share the joy we found with others and so as a family we are creating a one stop shop for useful tools, helpful ideas, out of the box activities, and a wealth of fun resources and reviews to help you along your way.
